Guided Two-Tank Dive Trips with Salacia
Every morning, weather dependent, Neptune’s Divers runs a guided two-tank dive trip from Hermanus Harbour aboard Salacia, our dedicated dive vessel. Each trip includes two separate dives, giving divers the opportunity to experience the diverse underwater environments of Walker Bay.
Our first dive is normally a reef dive, where divers explore local reefs filled with colourful fish life and coral. These dives are often accompanied by curious Cape fur seals, which occasionally come to investigate the divers.
After the first dive, we return to shore for a comfortable surface interval. This gives divers the chance to warm up with a hot cup of tea or coffee, enjoy a quick refresh, and even take a sneaky toilet break before heading back out for the second dive.
The second dive is typically in one of Hermanus’ beautiful kelp forests. These dives are slightly shallower and offer a unique underwater landscape as sunlight filters through the towering kelp. The kelp forests are home to fascinating marine life, including pyjama sharks, shy sharks, and a variety of macro species that our dive guides love pointing out.
Once the dives are complete, we return to the harbour where divers can rinse their gear, have their logbooks stamped, and relax after a great morning on the water.
To keep our dive trips personal and relaxed, we take no more than eight divers per trip. Larger groups can be accommodated by special request.
Our goal is simple — to make every dive safe, relaxed, and effortless. Our experienced crew and dive guides are always on hand to assist with anything you may need, ensuring you can fully enjoy the incredible underwater world of Hermanus and Walker Bay. 🌊
Throughout the Year Scuba diving courses and Scuba diving excursions are done off of our 8m Super duck Salacia or Ocean Quest our 36ft yacht
Cancellation Policy
All payments are required in full to confirm bookings onboard Ocean Quest, places onboard can not be reserved without making full payment.
Payment are NON REFUNDABLE if guest cancel with in 48 HOURS of the ARRIVAL time of the trip onboard Ocean Quest, or if guests miss the departure time of Ocean Quest.
Payment are FULLY REFUNDABLE if guest cancel more than 48 HOURS prior to the ARRIVAL time of the trip booked onboard Ocean Quest. Payments are also FULLY REFUNDABLE if Neptune’s Divers & Cruises cancel the trip for any reason, this might be for reasons beyond our control and or bad weather.
