Salacia is our 8m Super duck that is based in Hermanus New Harbour.  It is operated by professional, licensed skipper and crew for both boating and Scuba diving.

 

This is an adrenaline based tour with fun, interesting and educational facts of our coast line. Throughout the 60 min trip our crew give talks about Hermanus and the historical sites we past. We also try and find as much marine wild life as possible, this varies on the time of year. Get your heart rate up while experiencing the beauty of Hermanus!

Our Adventure tour sets off daily onboard Salacia our 8m Semi-ridged inflatable Super duck from Hermanus new Harbour. This is an adrenaline based tour with fun, interesting and educational facts of our coast line. Throughout the 60 min trip our crew give educational talks about Hermanus and the historical sites we past. We also try and find as much marine wild life as possible, this varies on the time of year but year around we can see our local cape fur seals and also the jackass penguin better known as the common penguin. We occasionally see dolphins, bridal whales and from June to October Southern right whale.

(please note our Adventure tour is NOT a whale watching tour).

 

This tour is ideal for families and couples that like to spend a fun and exhilarating 60min of their day taking in the sights of Walkerbay and Hermanus with speed. The trip is fun, safe, educational and exciting. Salacia is a fully licenced commercial vessel with a certified and well experienced commercially indorsed crew. We comply with South African Maritime Safety Authorities rules and regulations and insure the safety of all guests and crew onboard at all times.


Our Adventure tour sets off from Hermanus New harbour, there are local restaurants that are walking distance from Neptune's Divers and cruises offices or a short taxi ride away.


 

Cancellation Policy 

All payments are required in full to confirm bookings onboard Ocean Quest, places onboard can not be reserved without making full payment.
Payment are NON REFUNDABLE if guest cancel with in 48 HOURS of the ARRIVAL time of the trip onboard Ocean Quest, or if guests miss the departure time of Ocean Quest.
Payment are FULLY REFUNDABLE if guest cancel more than 48 HOURS prior to the ARRIVAL time of the trip booked onboard Ocean Quest. Payments are also FULLY REFUNDABLE if Neptune’s Divers & Cruises cancel the trip for any reason, this might be for reasons beyond our control and or bad weather.
